As we reflect on the substantial journey that has shaped DILASA over the past five years since its inauguration, we see our gradual beginnings in the early days. However, in the latter half of this timeframe, things changed rapidly and we had a significant surge in both admissions and home visits. To date, we have served 4646 direct beneficiaries, achieving a remarkable bed occupancy rate that totaled 18,821 days. In the current year alone, we proudly report an increase in our outreach, with 806 beneficiaries, including both direct and indirect services, resulting in admissions that have crossed 25 beds. This growth has necessitated essential expansions, allowing us to benefit more deserving individuals.

This progress is very much due to your unwavering support and generous contributions, as well as the tireless dedication of our nursing staff under the guidance of our Trustees. We all remain unconditionally committed to offering the highest standard of compassionate care.

At present, we face an urgent need to meet our ongoing operational expenses, and secure them in future. In our pursuit of sustainability for DILASA, we are actively seeking collaborative partnerships with various business entities, industries, and compassionate philanthropists willing to contribute both financially and in kind.

As we navigate this crucial phase, we recognize the immense value of community engagement in bolstering our noble mission. To this end, we, in all humility, invite our cherished supporters to help us. Please consider assigning a portion of expenditures incurred during significant personal celebrations—such as birthdays, anniversaries, and such joyous events toward this philanthropic endeavor. After all – “It is in giving, that we receive” – true joy.

We kindly urge you to consider making some contribution to DILASA. A donation of Rs. 2,525 directly supports the care of one patient for an entire day. We welcome contributions whatever the amounts be. Kindly note that donations made to our trust are eligible for tax exemptions under Section 80G.

Furthermore, you may contemplate sponsoring the daily meal costs or essential supplies in honor of your own significant life events or in memory of loved ones who have departed. Please keep in mind that no act of kindness is too small. Even modest contributions can effect transformative changes in the lives of those we serve.
